For me, it is my duty to affirm myself as a mother, as a wife, and more importantly as a woman. Worthy women raise worthy children. I am teaching my children how powerful their words are and how their words can impact their lives and the lives of others. Although I pray for my children on a daily basis, I have started integrating affirmations into their daily routine – morning and night. I want my children to understand how their words create their world. Their words create how they feel. Now is the time to build self-confidence using their words. Now is the time to teach your little ones how impactful their words are – positively or negatively. We must start NOW, mommies!
When I had my daughter Bailee, I vividly remember someone asking if I was scared to have a daughter in this day and age. In that particular moment, I confidently said, no!!! She is two now and I must honestly admit, in the age of social media, it worries me a little. Instead of focusing my energy and thoughts on my worries, I began to affirm myself as a mother. I asked God to endow me with the wisdom to raise a strong, God-desiring, respectful, confident, integral, beautiful human being. I asked God to cater my words to perfectly fit her needs, her feelings, her emotions, and her future. I started speaking love, joy, and peace into her life. Then I thought to myself, “Why not teach her how to positively affirm herself NOW?” And that’s exactly what I started doing. Here are 10 Positive Affirmations For Toddler Girls!
“I am strong.”
“I am great.”
“I can do anything.”
“I am loved.”
“I am precious.”
“I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
“I am intelligent.”
“God loves me.”
“I am kind.”
“I love me.”
Have your daughter repeat these positive, confidence-building affirmations daily. It’s also another way for you to sneak some extra affirmations in for yourself! It’s a win, win for both of you.!! Your daughter’s personality will begin to exude confidence!
Please share your positive affirmations for your little queen in the comments. I am always looking to add to Miss Bailee’s list of positive affirmations! 🙂
Until next time,
Love you Mommyhero!
