I just came back from a MUCH needed vacation, and I must say – it’s been way too long! During vacation, I promised myself a yearly vacation without children – AT LEAST ONE! It’s only right, right?!
While my children are my ENTIRE world, taking a break helps me focus on ME. I learned the importance of taking time to focus on me. I also learned how beneficial “time away” is for my life and overall happiness! Most importantly, I learned the need to create a life I don’t need to escape!! 2018 is all about creating and manifesting!! 🙂 I want to share with you 3 things I learned from vacation and why vacations are important for every mother.
I Learned To Say “No” To Social Media
Durning our cruise to the Bahamas, we had little to no internet access which allowed for the much-needed quiet time we didn’t know we needed! Be sure to stay tuned for my official vacation blog post! 😉
Priceless time to simply THINK, uninterrupted. At first, I didn’t know what to do with the alarming silence. Honestly, it scared me. I can’t remember the last time I was face to face with my thoughts. After the initial fear, the silence became captivating. I was captivated by ME! My thoughts, my growth, my goals, my progress – I was overtaken by a sense of pride.
I Learned To Take Pride In Myself
I am proud of Mommyhero, I am proud of my growth, I am proud of my happiness. I AM PROUD OF ME! I am proud of who I am and most importantly, who I am becoming. I will forever fight for me. Fight for my peace. Fight for my joy. Fight for my children. Fight for Mommyheroes around the world!!
I Learned To Fight For The Life I Want
Tough times can reveal the fighter in a person. As a result, you discover the fighter in you. Fight for the life you want to live. Fight for your dreams. Fight for your dream home. Fight to be the mother you want to be. Fight for a happy marriage. Fight for those good days. Because when you cross over, the feeling of accomplishment is indescribable.
So mommies, never give up on you. Put you first and ALWAYS fight for YOUR dreams!!!
Until next time…
Love you Mommyhero!!
Always remember, you are strong, you are great, and you can do anything!!
