Hello, Mommyheroes!! I know, I know, it’s been a while. Let’s just say life doesn’t stop for anything. I will come back in a later blog post to share all of the great and exciting things we’ve welcomed into our lives. God is amazing! But I wanted to share something that’s been on my heart for quite some time now.
So, here goes and I hope you enjoy…
I am learning to be kind to everyone. I can’t say this enough. Someone is always battling something and it may or may not be visible to you. Be kind and show kindness. Some people are so flipping rude. Rude in their mannerisms, rude in their body language. Rude in their communication in general. Just simply rude. How much does it cost you to be nice? Does it hurt you to be kind and go the extra mile without any expectation? I have made it my duty to be nice and extending even when it’s not reciprocated. What most do not understand is that this thing called life is SO much bigger than us. It’s bigger than my family and I. IT’S SO MUCH BIGGER. Ask God to give you a glimpse of the bigger picture and it should humble you and give you tons of perspective. When I am kind to others despite how they treat me, I believe God covers me in ways unknown to man. When I go over and beyond for people who wouldn’t do the same for me, God favors me. I’ll be the first to admit, I prefer God’s reward over what any human could give me. I have often felt taken advantage of and I have often felt people take my kindness as a weakness. What I have grown to learn is that being kind and showing kindness is actually a strength! God is the rewarder. He gives the rewards. He gives the blessings. He gives the unmerited grace and mercy. He continually gives me my heart’s desire. Most times, without asking. Being kind and exemplifying kindness to people who are “undeserving” in your eyes are the ones who need it most. Be loving. Be kind. Extend yourself and watch God reward you beyond measure. Kindness is a continual river of life. It should flow effortlessly. Let it flow, uninterrupted and under any circumstance! JUST BE KIND!
Until next time…
Love you Mommyhero!
Always remember, You are strong. You are great and you can do anything!!
